Steve McCaffrey

Managing Director

Steve McCaffrey serves as Managing Partner at Proviniti with 30+ years of experience in technology management. He has a proven track record of consistent success in various management roles, including web and mobile development, large multi-tiered systems development, payments, architecture, production support, and infrastructure. Steve managed teams globally, ranging from 20 to 1000 employees, with budgets ranging from $6 million to $100 million. He received the “Outstanding Performer” award for three years at Bank of America and was selected as one of the top 1% of executives to participate in the prestigious “Accelerated Development” program. Steve was also selected as a top executive in a similar development program at Lehman Brothers. His achievements include developing a global private banking system that ties together a unique web-based experience for high net-worth clients with a customer relationship management system, winning an Infoweek 500 Innovations award and a Nielsen award for Bank of America, and has achieved CMM Level 2 for a bank development group. Steve holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the New York Institute of Technology.

Amit Puri

Senior Operating Partner

Amit Puri is part of the senior management team at Proviniti responsible for driving New Strategy and Go-To-Market for global Practice initiatives. Previously, Puri had an accomplished track record with key leadership roles with Global SI’s and Enterprise Software majors like Capgemini, Infosys, Genpact, H.P., Oracle, and Celonis to drive new revenue growth and scale Enterprise Transformation businesses combined with NextGen A.I./Automation SaaS platforms for Enterprise G2K clients globally. He brings extensive industry experience to incubate and scale NextGen consulting services for G.T.M. and execution success and commercialization strategies. Puri also led an entrepreneurial startup venture as Founder & C.E.O. in Silicon Valley to build NextGen BPaaS Platform-BPO SaaS offering. Amit is recognized as an adept business & technology leader in driving new growth in disruptive industry segments and Digital B2B SaaS technologies. Go-To-Market focus includes driving multi-million P&Ls and large global teams for Direct Enterprise Sales, Alliances & Channels Ecosystems, and global growth responsibility to drive Topline growth and EBITDA impact metrics, scaling new market adoption and industry differentiation for enterprise transformation. Puri received his M.B.A. in Strategy & Marketing from Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, M.S. from Deakin University, and B.E. from Delhi College of Engineering, University of Delhi, India. He is based in the San Francisco Bay Area, with previous global roles covering the U.K., Singapore, India, and APAC regions.

Shiba Patra

Chief Delivery & Transformation Officer

Shiba Patra is a Business and Technology leader with 25+ years of experience incubating and scaling Data Analytics and ServiceNow practices. He most recently has served as Global Transformation Leader at Celonis, managing business alliances, sales, go-to-market strategy, business processes, and complex sales, among others. He has incubated ServiceNow’s emerging product practice and worked very closely in the health, energy, and utility sectors. As Head of Analytics for BFS-TCS, He has helped customers adopt big data technologies and create data lakes for futuristic analytics practices for the credit card, wealth management, retail banking, and mortgage divisions for customers like Citibank, Bank of America, JPMC, CIBC (Canada) and RBC. Shiba has tremendous experience in IT transformation, business process improvement, software as a service (SaaS), strategy, and business development.
